Hermit crabs enjoy drinking their water through a sponge, rather than on an open dish of water. This shall helps in preventing accidental drowning of your hermit crab.

Provides beneficial humidity to your hermit crab enclosure which is necessary for the long term health of your hermit crabs. (Humidity induces normal feeding behavior). Soak the sponge in water and then place in a very low small water dish. Fill water bowl with water. Replace water in bowl as it evaporates. Clean bowl and sponge weekly or as needed.
