If you’re looking for the best ever premium quality Timothy-based guinea pig food, buy this one.
We offer an ultra-awesome, top-of-the-line Timothy hay guinea pig pellet, fortified with all essential vitamins and minerals (including stabilized Vitamin C) that guinea pigs need to stay healthy. Small Pet Select guinea pig food pellets are made in small batches with only the finest ingredients, including our very best hand-selected Timothy hay. (We actually go to the fields to choose the hay we offer. And our CEO has 20/20 vision. No joke.)
Pellets can be such a great supplement for your guinea pig’s diet. Although hay is the most important part of your cavy’s diet (really, it’s #1), when you want to provide a little extra nutrition, pellets could be your answer.
We recommend feeding with Small Pet Select Timothy hay, freshwater (always!), and moderate amounts of fresh veggies.
Stay away from junky big-box pet store guinea pig pellets; they’re packed with unsafe ingredients and can cause obesity, teeth issues, and other scary things. While the mixes may look appealing, they don’t have the nutrients your cavy deserves. And needs. You won’t be sorry your guinea pig tried this stuff. And they won’t be sorry, either.
P.S. There are no nuts in our premium guinea pig food pellets. Be aware, though, that they are manufactured in a facility that processes nuts.
Storage and Expiration Info: Store in a cool, dry place.
Feeding Instructions:
When your cavy is approximately 6+ months old (consult with your exotic vet for the best plan for you and your animal), about 1/8 cup of Timothy-based guinea pig pellets per day, supplemented with hay (premium, quality hay should make up 80% of your cavy’s diet) and fresh veggies.
